Two Laptop Cases I'm Loving
The beautiful use of natural materials and the elegant handmade detailing of this one makes it so chic.
Portel Natural Felt Case
The fact that this one disguises your laptop as a vintage literature book is just plain cool. I love creative design and a sense of humor.
BookBook Hardback Leather Case
Can't decide which I'd rather have for my own macbook. For now, they'll both go on my wish list :-)

Office Inspiration Part II
As promised...more inspirational office interiors! Here's what else I'm loving:
Beautiful wallpaper, a lacquered table in an unexpected color, a twig lamp with a black shade, and touches of gold
The glamorous black and light blue combo, a collage of framed mirrors, a chair upholstered in a soft rich fabric, and a pretty lamp

A serving tray with sparkling water (Pelegrino -my favorite!) and an inspiration board for paint swatches, fabric samples, etc. and
Another color-filled inspiration board to get the creative juices flowing
A simple white desk and lots of monochrome storage

A poster that reminds me to stay sane

A bright colored chair and more sunlight!

Office Inspiration Part I
After a week of relaxing and braving the great outdoors during a camping trip, I'm back at home working out all the details of my little start-up. Just a few days ago I was driving an hour to get to work. This morning I just took a few steps to my office...it felt so great. Ahhh...this is what I was waiting for!
Even though my office is actually simply just a corner of our living room, since I'll be spending a lot more time there, I'm planning on revamping it bit to accommodate my new storage needs and make it an inspiring space to work. I spent some time today combing through inspiration files. Here's what I'm loving...

Hermes boxes as stylish storage containers
more Hermes boxes!

A piece to hold and keep within easy access my growing collection of books
Uniformed magazine files

A large working surface and framed fashion artwork

A simple white desk and a cool lamp
A neutral palette, a curvy desk, and big bouquet of flowers

Glam accessories

A tidy monochrome cluster of pencils

A pretty letter holder

A lacquered storage box, a mirrored tissue box, and chairs upholstered in baby blue.

Kerry Washington's Apartment
~
Have you checked out Kerry Washington's fabulous apartment featured in this month's O Magazine yet? I love, love, love it because first of all the designer Danny Seo used green materials, products, etc. so it's planet friendly; secondly the prints and colors used are so vibrant and uplifting; and thirdly it has such a cozy feel to it! Who wouldn't want to live there?

Doesn't that blue wall color remind you of Carrie's apartment in the Sex and the City movie?
