As a person who loves color, I find spaces with a palette of bright pinks and blues to be lively and uplifting.

Friday Inspiration {Christine d'Ornano's Home}

Happy Friday! It's a sunny day here and I'm feeling inspired by Christine d"Ornano's colorful and cheerful London home.

I love that this space is both a dining room and library. The sunlight coming in from those windows is amazing and how great are those yellow leather upholstered chairs?!




Walls covered in pink linen? Yes please! I love the upholstered coffee table and the pop of color from the green ikat pillows.



There's a great mix of styles throughout the home. The floors and table give the kitchen dining area a slightly rustic vibe while the lamps and artwork integrate vintage elements.



Chalkboards are so fun --they make a space feel casual and inviting.




The Osborne and Little linen in this bedroom is beautiful, but its a bit too much for me with it used on the walls, bed skirt and headboard. Toned down a bit, I think I could like it a lot more. The color palette and the carpeting are pretty fabulous.

Beautiful Combo: Turquoise + Navy

Turquoise and navy are two of my absolute favorite colors to wear and use in interiors and I love them even more when paired together. They make for a pretty dynamic duo:

An Autumn Palette

The intermingling of colors in this photograph are perfection and make for a nice little palette: earthy brown, pumpkin orange, neutral cream, olive green, mustard gold...

I was delighted to spot this image of Mario and Anne Grauso's living room over at Habitually Chic today because it incorporates the colors in my recent French inspired "Palette en Couleur"...the rich chocolate browns, the chic black, the golden yellows, the charcoal grey...it's there! Heather is right, it's a perfect Parisian space -wouldn't you agree?
