My Closet

Remember awhile back, I mentioned I was painting my sad beige closet?

Well here's how it turned out:

It's now a lot more cheerful :)

These show only the right side of closet -left side is my husband's. His side has all black boxes on the top shelves (hence the one that shows up in the photo above left)

Pink Luxury

Complete with a fireplace and giant walk-in closet, this bedroom is a girly girl's dream. Drake Design Associates indulged their client with feminine details...chairs upholstered in pink tweed, ultra plush bedding and flooring, a Lucite desk chair, a vintage gold mirror, an armoire in pink+black (love that combo!)...

Deborah Lloyd's Home

Upon seeing it in a previous issue of Harpers Baazar I instantly fell in love with Deborah Lloyd’s home. Deborah is creative director of Kate Spade and is one of those ultra-chic women whose style I thoroughly admire. Check out her fabulous living room below.

I'm a big fan of using black and white with punches of bright colors, like the hot pink she used in this room. She carried through these colors into the bedroom.

Everything works beautifully: the warm wall color, the floor length curtains, the black and white frames, the crisp white bedding, and the stand-out pink touches. Finally, check out the shot of her inside her closet –love all that color!
