Snickerdoodle?

Would you like a hot Snickerdoodle, right out of the oven?



I saved some just for you!

This recipe is from Just a Matter of Thyme-Among Friends:

Snickerdoodles

1 cup margarine (I use butter)
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 eggs
2 3/4 cups flour
2 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt

3 Tbsp. sugar and 3 tsp. cinnamon, mixed together in a bowl or plate.

Cream together sugar and margarine. Add eggs and belnd well. In a separate bowl, mix flour, cream of tartar, baking soda, and salt together. Add to creamed mixture and mix well. Shape dough in 1" balls and roll in the cinnamon-sugar mixture. Place 2" apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 8-10 minutes at 350.
