DIY Artwork: Tonal Concentric Squares

Given my love for the pillows mentioned in this post its no surprise I'm drawn to this artwork:

It's a similar idea; tonal concentric squares. What I love is that the color combos are endless and it's an easy DIY paint or Photoshop project. Great way to inject color into a space!

BTW you can find pillows similar to the ones in the above mentioned post over at Jonathan Adler:

The cool thing? The colors are customizable!

Fashion Illustrations from Prismera

When I started browsing through Prismera Design I know I'd find beautiful pieces of jewelry, but to my pleasant surprise I also spotted a few lovely pieces of artwork. I'm referring to these watercolor paintings by the talented Laura Su. Aren't they so pretty?

Mira Belleza

I'd like to share with you the work of my amazingly talented little sister Patty, self-taught artist and owner of Mira Belleza.

Patty is incredibly passionate about what she does and it shows. When she's not doing everything demanded of a full-time UCSB undergraduate, she dedicates her time to developing her artistic talents. She's definitely an artist to watch. You can find her original pieces here and read her blog here.
